Project Overview
Decision Impact Scheduler (DIS) is a Gantt-based enterprise scheduling platform built to support large-scale project planning and workflow management. The platform helps teams organize timelines, manage task dependencies, track milestones, and coordinate activities across complex project environments. The focus of the project was to simplify planning workflows, improve visibility into interconnected schedules, and enhance usability for teams handling high-volume operational tasks within an enterprise ecosystem.
My Approach
The design approach focused on simplifying complex enterprise scheduling workflows by understanding how teams managed planning, dependencies, and coordination across large-scale projects. Before DIS, users relied on disconnected tools such as Power BI dashboards and Excel sheets to handle scheduling and project tracking manually, leading to fragmented visibility, inefficient collaboration, and time-consuming workflow management. The goal was to consolidate these scattered processes into a unified platform that streamlined planning operations and improved access to critical scheduling data within a single experience. The redesign emphasized clarity, scalability, and structured interaction patterns to reduce cognitive overload, improve timeline visibility, and enable teams to manage interconnected project schedules more efficiently.
